Review Central: Brothers – A lost fight all the way
Bollywood has stopped being ‘inspired’ and is now doing official remakes of Hollywood films. Brothers is the authorised remake of Warrior starring Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton. In Brothers, it’s Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead roles.
The critics have almost without exception trashed the film one going so far as to say, Brothers is so bad it should be disqualified. There’s apparently a lot wrong with Brothers: deviating from the original in all the wrong ways, too many stereotypes and a tendency to take the audience for fools.

Our take: Watch the film only if you have a thing for the sight of blood, gore and crushed bones. Sidharth Malhotra’s bare chest is also largely on display, if that’s an attraction.
