Is Robert Downey Jr actually turning into Tony Stark?

“Genius. Billionaire. Playboy. Philanthropist.”

That was Robert Downey Jr’s character Tony Stark’s kickass response to a smug Captain America in the first Avengers film.

So far, Robert Downey Jr the man has played the first three roles — of genius, billionaire, and playboy — to perfection. And slowly, he’s adding the fourth — philanthropist — to his life, too.

If he continues down this road, he could well be the real-life superhero the world has been waiting for!

Lending his support to Microsoft’s #CollectiveProject, RDJ has just turned up at a child’s home, and possibly made his entire life.

Dressed as Tony Stark would, RDJ met little Alex, a 7-yr-old boy who loves superheroes and riding his bike, and who was born with a partially developed right arm.

The Hollywood superstar then proceeded to open two Stark Industries-marked crates, and pulled out a real, Iron Man-styled bionic arm for Alex.

The brains behind the arm, Albert Manero, is a #CollectiveProject student who founded Limbitless. He 3D printed the arm at no cost to the family.

How cool is that!
