Sabyasachi Mukherjee is a name synonymous with bridal couture in India. But the designer opted to give the much coveted Indian Couture Week a miss this year. Instead, he thought of inviting everyone of us at the launch of his latest bridal wear collection – Firdaus.
Yes, you read it right. Sabyasachi unveiled his latest collection Firdaus, which literally translates into the highest garden in paradise, on his official Instagram account. The designer brought the intricate embroideries, well-fitted sleeves, deep round necklines, lush red lehengas, jet black coats and vintage florals right into our smartphones.
The designer has often said that his stores are “60% experience and 40% retail”. And with his latest “show”, he brought this experience to each one of us.
