Shooting of a fifth sequel of Malayalam detective thriller series – Sethurama Iyer CBI which have earlier created ripples in box office will commence by April end this year.
It is learned that mega star Mammootty will reappear as the brainy cop – Sethurama Iyer in the fifth part of the movie series.
According to scriptwriter of the movie – S N Swamy, the story line would be unpredictable to the audience and would keep them in the edge of their seats.
Meanwhile, it is also learned that story of the upcoming part of the series will be avoiding cliches as commonly found in earlier parts of the series.

“There will be no such scenes in which suspects being questioned in the climax. This will not be a conventional film,” S N Swamy told Manorama.
Prominent actors in Malayalam movie industry like Ranji Panicker and Sai Kumar will be doing major roles in the movie. Though female characters have importance in the movie none has been fixed as of now.
Contrary to reports suggesting that it would be the last part in the series, Swamy said that additions may come in future. “It cannot be said that there will not be any additions to this series,” he added.
The fifth part of Sethurama Iyer will be produced by Swargachitra Appachan.
