If reports are to be believed, the latest Coldplay album – A Head Full of Dreams – will feature Sonam Kapoor in the video of one of its songs – Hymn For The Weekend.
While it is believed that Coldplay’s new album images were shot in India, Sonam recently confessed to having a cameo appearance in the song, and said she will don a desi look for the video. She will be seen shaking a leg in the song wearing a traditional ghaghra choli, maang teeka and a nose ring and she shot for the video at places like the Golfa Devi temple in Worli and the Vasai Fort. Sonam said, “I love Coldplay’s music and so does the world. It was a huge honour to be a part of the video. It’s a great concept and I had a lot of fun shooting for it.”

The video, directed by Ben Mor, will feature Beyonce in the lead, who has lent her voice for the song.
