Sonu Nigam would not have given a second thought when his co-passengers on board of a Jet Airways flight requested him to sing for them in mid air before he actually did it.

However, as videos of Sonu singing on the flight announcement system showed up on social media platforms, Jet Airways was forced to take down five members of cabin crew from service as the part of an inquiry.

The on board flight concert took place on a Jet Airways flight which was flying down from Jodhpur to Mumbai on Thursday (February 4).  As per reports, the playback singer entertained his fellow passengers with his popular numbers – ‘Panchi Nadiya’ from the movie ‘Refugee’ and ‘Do Pal Ruka’ from ‘Veer Zara’.

“All Cabin Crew on the flight have been taken off from flight duty for enquiry and corrective training to reinforce strict adherence to operating procedures,” read a statement issued by Jet Airways on Friday. Action against the crew members were taken for inquiry and corrective action.
