Chakra: The Invincible is the first Indian superhero comic book that the legendary comic book writer created in 2011. The series was then adapted and launched as a children’s animated film on Cartoon Network India two years before.

Motwane is believed to be working closely with Lee and the creative partner Sharad Devarajan on the screenplay and script of the live action film. The film will be set in Mumbai and will portray Chakra as being in his early twenties and not as a teenager as shown in the animated film.

Lee, a self-confessed fan of Bollywood films, is reportedly thrilled to work on the project. Stan Lee is expected to make a cameo appearance in the film just as he did in all the other Marvel films.
