Suresh Raina and wife Priyanka have been blessed with a baby girl. The couple have named their newborn daughter Shreyanshi.
The Gujarat Lions skipper flew to Amsterdam to be with his wife for the birth of their first child. Raina missed Saturday’s IPL match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chinnaswamy Stadium and is also likely to miss the next match against Kolkata Knight Riders in Kanpur on Thursday.
Raina is currently 15 runs short of becoming the first batsman to reach 4,000 runs in the IPL. Raina has scored 3699 runs for Chennai Super Kings and 286 runs for the Gujarat Lions so far.
According to reports, he will be available for the match between Gujarat Lions and Mumbai Indians, next Saturday.
