Celebrities at times send out a good social message with their deeds. This happened when we saw actors like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Tusshar Kapoor break the taboo of natural childbirth and opted for surrogacy babies. Tusshar impressed people more than any other actor when he decided that he wanted a baby in spite of not being married and went for IVF.

However, there is someone who condemned these acts and slammed all the celebrities for choosing surrogacy, which is now gaining foothold in India. Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj spoke to the media after the new draft of Surrogacy Bill was cleared yesterday and said, “Big celebrities who not only have one but two children, a son and a daughter, even they went ahead with surrogacy. Jo cheez zaroorat ke naam pe shuru ki gayi thi, wo ab shauk ban gayi hai (what had been started as a need has now become fashion).

While the minister is busy judging celebrities for having surrogate babies, here are 5 Bollywood celebrities who had a baby through this unconventional method.

Shahrukh Khan: Superstar SRK and wife Gauri already had two children – Aryan and Suhana – when they decided to go ahead with surrogacy to have a third baby in 2013. AbRam Khan, their third child, already has a fan following of his own.
