SpiceJet has put half a million seats on sale, with prices starting at just Rs 1,499. This promotional offer can be availed within a three-day “Super Sale” period.

Today was the first day of bookings and the sale continues for two more days until 30 January. Sale prices are valid for travel between  15 February and 30 June.

However, this is not the only such offer. January has already seen major airlines slashing prices and offering discounts.

We give you the low down on the upturn!
