AIB’s Tanmay Bhat is one of the funniest guys around, but his latest attempt in humor has landed him in trouble. The comedian’s recent video post on Facebook, which makes fun of India’s biggest legends, Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar, was apparently found to be more offensive than funny.
The video has Tanmay making fun of Sachin’s batting and Lata Mangeshkar’s age and looks. The comedian posted the video with the caption, “Sachin vs Lata Civil War (I make such nonsense on my Snapchat – follow me there – ID: Thetanmay) (Also I obvously love Lata and Sachin, just having some fun)”.
The jokes were not taken too well by people, with many expressing their discontent towards it. There were a flurry of comments on the video, asking Tanmay to apologize. The video was also slammed by Bollywood celebrities, who took to twitter to criticize it.
