Telangana’s transport department released an app to help motorists avoid physically carrying vehicle-related documents.

The RTA M-Wallet will allow users to digitally store documents issued by the transport department such as driving licence,
registration certification and other vehicle-related papers.

The app is available on Android and iOS platforms. Once installed, the user can download the documents and save them on the app permanently.

According to a press release, the transport department launched the app to avoid the hassles in physically carrying documents, including theft, loss or misplacement.

The ‘RTA M-Wallet’ will also allow users to add documents of multiple vehicles they own. However, the app currently does not support pollution certificates and is only accepted in Telangana.
