In yet another horrific sequel of horrific violence spewed in the name of religion, unknown number of assailants targeted a group of Eid revellers in the city of Dhaka, killing two and injuring 10 as per reports.

Reportedly, the assailants attacked a Bangladesh prayer gathering with bombs and guns during an Eid event earlier today.

More than 300,000 worshipers were praying in an area called Sholakia, 62 miles (100 kilometers) northeast of Dhaka, when the attack began, Kishoregunj District Police Assistant Superintendent Shoaib Abu Shayal was quoted by CNN.
It is learned that the perpetrators have been surrounded by security forces in a house near the incident took place.

It comes less than a week after 22 people were killed in a terrorist attack on a popular bakery in Dhaka, an act of violence which shocked Bangladesh due to its size and the middle-class backgrounds of the perpetrators.
The attack in Dhaka last week had generated world wide condemnation against alleged Islamic terrorism. Following the previous attack Bangladesh police had said that it was not IS which was behind it.
On the contrary, the Islamic State terror group had on Wednesday issued a new chilling video warning the Bangladesh government of more attacks in the country and across the world until Shariah law is established globally, saying last week’s gruesome attack on a cafe here was just “a glimpse”.
