This Terry Pratchett quote is the most poignant collection of words you’ll read all day

There’s something about Terry Pratchett. He has enthralled generations of readers with his Discworld series of novels and his unique approach to writing.

But, every once in a while, he would slip in a line or two that, on second reading, had the power to send the reader into a deep state of introspection.

One such instance occurs in the 15th novel of the Discworld series, Men at Arms. And it goes perfectly with this scene from the hit Sherlock series.

Pratchett passed away on March 12 this year, from a severe chest infection with final complications from his long battle against Alzheimer’s.
