These tweets prove that Shah Rukh Khan can be both gracious and funny in defeat
Some of you might have been heartbroken with Kolkata Knight Riders’ close defeat to Rajasthan Royals in their final league encounter yesterday.
The defeat that virtually ended KKR’s campaign this year, came as a disappointment to most fans, who would have been hoping to see the defending champs at least make it to the playoffs.
KKR owner SRK however, seemed a little more composed after the defeat and promised a better show next time around with these tweets.
Well tried KKR. Awesome display Rajasthan Royals. Absolutely deserving winners!!! And the best hospitality in any arena CCI…thank u so much.

But the tweet that took the cake and really highlighted SRK’s sense of humour was this joke that he posted a day after the game.
He: We Won? Me: No Son. He: Why Papa? Me: Wat Son! pic.twitter.com/IMS4KgzF3x

In case you don’t watch cricket and didn’t get that joke, SRK is praising Rajasthan’s opener Shane Watson, whose century set up a crucial victory for Royals against SRK’s KKR.
Way to be a sportsman, King Khan. Let’s hope every team goes down with such grace.
Also, better luck next time, KKR!
