25 year old Bablu had a medical condition which caused one of his arms to grow abnormally big. People in his hometown showed very little empathy to his unfortunate condition, rather, they ostracized him, even calling him a devil’s child. He was forced to move away from his home to Mumbai, after his family disowned him, succumbing to societal pressure.
Bablu suffered from a rare condition known a gigantism, which causes extensive growth of body tissue.His abnormally big hands made it hard to even carry out day to day tasks. He found it extremely difficult to get a job, as people were scared of him.
Bablu’s hand reportedly weighs 20 kgs. Doctors who examined him have told that with proper medical care his arm can be reduced to a normal size. Perhaps, what bablu needs is a crowdfunding project that can help him out.
