The International 2015 is an annual eSports DotA 2 (Defense of the Ancients 2) championship tournament organised and crowdfunded by game developer Valve Corporation. The competition had one-on-one fights where the team outshone their peers.

Saahil Arora known by game name UNiVeRsE is the offlaner of the team who has participated in Valve’s all four DotA 2 championships. He is based in Madison, US. He is 25 and dropped out of the University of Wisconsin at Madison to play. Earning a whopping $586,149 last year, he became one of the top 10 earning eSports players the world over. Here’s something interesting about him: His is not a match made in heaven rather in the virtual world of ‘electronic sports’! He met his girlfriend through eSports. She was his huge fan.

Sumail is the youngest one of the lot. He started playing DotA 2 when he was 7. Now he is 16. He hails from Karachi, Pakistan and now lives in the US pursuing his passion for gaming. The gamer started off with a stipend of less than $4000 a month when he joined Evil Geniuses. But this boy soon went on raking in $200,000 after a month as a professional gamer in the US. A true player, isn’t he?

The gamer believes, “You have to go pro or just leave it. It’s a time waste if you’re not going full pro. It’s not for noobs.” So, what makes Sumail so drawn towards this game? He says: “I liked the part that you couldn’t win with luck only.”

Saahil and Sumail helped their team win $1.2 million prize money at the DotA Asia Championshio this year before coming to Seattle. This duo seem to be real game for bigger challenges.

So, all you gamers out there, remember what Sumail says, play like a pro and not a noob!
