“The only problem we’re going to have is running out of bullets.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Abdullah II, Jordan’s king, and certified badass.

Just days after footage emerged of ISIS burning alive Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kassasbeh in a cage, there are reports that King Abdullah, a trained pilot himself, will lead revenge airstrikes against the terrorist organisation.

The Jordanian leader will personally participate in bombing raids of ISIS strongholds, Arabic newspapers reported.

UPDATE: King Abdullah II, it emerged, did not really fly in the bombing raids against the ISIS in eastern Syria.

However, here’s another little tidbit that Jordan’s king isn’t just another monarch.

In his younger days, it turns out, King Abdullah played  acted in, wait for it, Star Trek! Check out this clip from a 1996 episode of Star Trek: Voyager.

This comes after King Abdullah met with members of US Congress and quoted a line from a Clint Eastwood film.

Soon after that meeting, the  Royal Hashemite Court, the political and administrative link between the monarchy and Jordan’s Government, Legislative and Judicial authorities, as well as the Armed Forces and Security Services, posted this photo of  the king on Facebook.

Speaking to the Washington Examiner, US politician Duncan Hunter said King Abdullah referred to the scene in which Clint Eastwood’s character in Unforgiven, William Munny, says, “Any man I see out there, I’m gonna kill him. Any son of a b*tch takes a shot at me, I’m not only going to kill him, I’m going to kill his wife and all his friends and burn his damn house down.”

Hunter continued: “He said there is going to be retribution like ISIS hasn’t seen. He’s angry. He’s ready to get it on. He really is. It reminded me of how we were after 9/11. We were ready to give it to them.”
