Ansar Ahmad, a barber from Jagatganj in Varanasi, hopes to enter the Guinness World Records with a unique feat he accomplished earlier in May, 2016—25 hours of non-stop free haircuts with scissors in his MOUTH!
Ahmad began using his mouth to cut hair not to enter the record books, but as a precaution to life’s unpredictability. A minor accident in 2006 had rendered him bedridden for a while. It forced him to think of alternate ways of doing what he did best—cut hair. He began practising soon after and managed to master the art of cutting hair with scissors in his mouth in 2008.
