By now, many of you might have already learned that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Facebook’s headquarters in California, where he’ll participate in a Q&A session on September 27.

For those looking forward to NaMo’s upcoming visit, here’s something more to get excited. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently shared the first live video from the company’s headquarters, giving us a glimpse of the place where the showrunners of the world’s biggest social networking website carry out their daily business.

However, if you are expecting a sparkling, state-of-the-art office with suit-clad, fancy individuals, you’re in for a real surprise. The simplicity of the FB headquarters is quite striking. And the most interesting part of the video is Mr Zuckerberg’s own desk (Yes, desk. The company has an open-door policy, meaning even the CEO doesn’t have an office).

The CEO’s desk is no different than that of an intern, so much so that you won’t even be able to make it out unless someone pointed it out to you.

Enjoy and be inspired.
