Eating and drinking is definitely one of Bangalore’s favourite pastimes. You can tell from the new restaurants and pubs that keeping popping up all over the place. Now, if you want it all at one go, there’s the Bangalore Food Fete, happening August 8th and 9th at VKC Pride in Marathahalli.

It’s going to be a line-up of casual dining restaurants, some pubs and entertainment acts by DJs, bands, stand-up comedians and flame throwers. There are gaming zones and activities for kids as well.

There’s also Go Italia, Wok and Mekong – for Oriental dishes – Sancho’s and Hungry Hogs for meat lovers. If it’s just a good old Biryani after, the Mani’s Dum Biryani stall is there.

Waffle Walle, Oven Treats, Mad Over Donuts will satisfy sweet cravings, as will Bombay Chowpatty Kulfi. Unwind over a cuppa at Chaipatti and Cup Cute. S.W.A.T brings the food truck experience to the Bangalore Food Fete, while Bootlegger will give you a high.
