Three pictures that make you proud to be an Indian

The lord knows that while India and India’s democracy have many faults, they have many things to be proud of as well.

The three pictures below squarely belong to the latter category.

Just a few days ago, these two rivals were at each other’s throat, figuratively that is.

But elections over, there is a civility, and even a smile. This is just when the one on the left, in the red sweater, has just roasted the one on the right at the hustings.

It is easy to take these things for granted, but they are not that commonplace. Just look around our neighbourhood, and you will know why we think this is worthy of the hype.
