A top model from Bengaluru city was arrested on charges of drug trafficking b the Narcotics Control Bureau.
26-year-old, Darshitmita Gowda allegedly a part of a gang that supplied drugs to college students, working professionals and others in Bengaluru, Mangaluru and Goa.
According to TOI report, Darshitmita was one of the 5 people who was arrested in connection to the case. Back in November of 2015, NCB raided the apartment in RT Nagar where she and her boyfriend Nishant lived and seized 110g of cocaine, 19g of hashish, 1.2g of MDMA and one LSD blot.
Darshitma was not home during the raid, however, her boyfriend was arrested. On interrogation, Nishant revealed that the model was part of the racket and managed the financial transactions.
After gathering enough evidences pointing towards Darshitma, the NCB took her into custody on June 21.
