Indian two-wheeler giant TVS Motors signed a deal with Snapdeal to sell its motorcycles and scooters online. Nine of TVS’ two-wheelers will be made available on Snapdeal. TVS is the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the country with annual revenues of close to $2 billion.

J S Srinivasan, vice president sales and services (TVS), told The Times of India (TOI), “We are excited to partner with Snapdeal to expand our reach with online channel for our two-wheelers.”

He added, “With Snapdeal’s extensive reach and a robust technology platform, we see immense value in our partnership.”

Tony Navin, senior vice president partnerships and strategic initiative (Snapdeal), in an interview with TOI said, “Two-wheelers from TVS Motor Company are a great addition to our offerings in the automobiles category.”

Tony highlighted that Snapdeal was the first to introduce a dedicated online motors platform. It launched the service in November 2015. “We were the first online marketplace in India to introduce this category and have built a dedicated motors platform to provide an intuitive and seamless buying experience,” he said.

“We are excited to bring more options online for our customers through this partnership,” Navin added.
