Twitter has rolled out a new emoji for India’s Bigg Boss 10

Bigg Boss, the Indian adaptation of USA’s Celebrity Big Brother, is in its 10th season now, the premier of which happened on Sunday and the first episode was aired on Monday, October 17. Needless to say, millions od Indians across the country and outside India are hooked to the reality show.

Twitter, to cater to Bigg Boss fans in India, has decided to roll out a special emoji just for the reality show. Twitterati will now be able to use the Bigg Boss iconic eye icon every time they type in hashtags like #BiggBoss, #BiggBoss10 or #BB10.

The latest season of Bigg Boss has been trending on Twitter India ever since it kicked off on Sunday. The premier episode of the show had some 1,11,000 tweets, which is almost 45 per cent more than last year.

For some time, Twitter has come up with special emojis for sporting events and other major events happening around the world. But this is the first time Twitter has come up with an exclusive emoji for an Indian show. With Salman Khan hosting this season again, the number is only expected to shoot up during the weekends when he makes an appearance.
