Twitter reacts hilariously to Modi’s interview with Arnab Goswami
Prime Minster Narendra Modi, on Monday, broke his silence over a wide range of issues in his first interview with a private television channel. This private channel being Times Now and the interview hosted by its editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami (popular for his shouting matches), viewers had expected a tension-filled stand-off between the two. Instead, what they witnessed was a ‘bromantic’ theatrical performance that can put Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dune to shame.
Even though Modi touched controversial topics including Rajan’s exit, the Mallaya episode, Indo-Pak relations, NSG bid and India’s relationship with China, viewers could not help but think of the interview being a scripted drama.
Here’s how twitterati reacted to the interview:
Can not believe this.

It’s also a first for Arnab Goswami’s wife to hear words like ‘Absolutely’, ‘Agreed’ in their married life. Thanks to Modi. #PMSpeaksToArnab — Debarati Majumder (@debarati_m) June 27, 2016
