Twitter reacts to Robert Lewandowski’s 5 goals in 9 minutes for Bayern Munich
In case you haven’t heard or seen it yet, Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski hit 5 goals in 9 minutes in a Bundesliga game against Wolfsburg on Tuesday.
Bayern were a goal down when Lewandowski came on as a substitute minutes into the second half. What followed were 9 freaky minutes that saw the Pole score 5 breathtaking goals in precisely 8 minutes and 59 seconds, setting a new Bundesliga record for fastest 5 goals in the league’s history.
Here’s a highlights package of that unbelievable game. The last of those five goals is purely magical. And Pep Guardiola’s reaction is simply priceless.
Naturally, Twitter had quite a bit to say following this unreal performance by the Bayern frontman. Here are a few notable reactions.
We just witnessed Lewandowski scoring 5 goals hours after Wenger said Giroud and Walcott are ''two top-level strikers'' lmao
