In the run up-to state assembly polls, general Secretary of Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam Vellappally Nateshan has gone bonkers over chief minister Oommen Chandy who according to him is the most capable member of the present Kerala cabinet.

The SNDP yogam chief who currently is in quest for prospective alliance for his nascent political party Bharatiya Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) headed by his son Thushar Vellappally,  showered praises on CM .

According to Nateshan, it is the leadership skill of Chandy that glued together all the factions within UDF which have contradictory views.

Nateshan recently ditched BJP’s grand alliance dreams in the state and came out in search of a better pre-poll alliances. Though he claimed that BDJS has held talks with leaders in CPI(M) and Congress for negotiating alliance, he later withdrew from the claim when both the leaderships openly questioned it.

Nateshan showered praises on Chandy during  the foundation stone laying ceremony of a proposed memorial pavilion at Sree mahadevar temple in Kottayam on Sunday.

Nateshan during the program told that Chandy is the best CM till date and he is a very blessed man. He also took a dig at the opposition LDF by calling Chandy blessed to a get the weakest opposition till now.

“Their only responsibility seems to be walking out of the Assembly whenever it was in session, giving the government a free hand to pass the Bills,” he said.

Sharing the stage with Chandy’s cabinet colleagues Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan and K C Joseph, he, however, went rough on opposition leader V S Achuthanandan and KPCC president V M Sudheeran.

While VS was criticised for his stand stand against the SNDP’s micro-finance conduct, Sudheeran heard music from Vellappally for slapping police cases on him on charges of offensive speech during his Samatva Munnetta Yatra last year.
