Two hundred and fifty thousand gallons of water. Every second.
That’s enough to fill up over 20 average swimming pools. How would it feel to have over 20 swimming pools worth of water emptied over your pitiful head every second? Well, now you can see what it looks like, if you’d like to.

National Geographic has posted a 360 degree video of the stunning Victoria falls in South Africa. The 5600 feet wide waterfall is one among the biggest on earth, and is located at the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. As the water winds its way to the 350 foot drop, there is a small pool of calm water right at the edge of the cliff. The pool, dubbed the ‘Devil’s pool’ is one of the most beautiful and dangerous ‘infinity’ pools on the planet!

An estimated 250,000 gallons of water roar down the cliff every second, making for a jaw dropping spectacle. Watch the video to experience this natural miracle up close!

The awe-inspiring wonder has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can click and drag the 360 degree video to take a quick peek over the edge of the falls.
