A 36-year-old mother was reportedly found unconscious at a Family Dollar store in Lawrence, while her little daughter was trying to wake her up.
The horrifying incident was captured on camera: Mandy McGowen who suffered from a drug overdose, lied unconscious on the floor, while her 2-year-old daughter was trying to wake her up.
Reportedly, the woman needed two doses of Narcan (reverses the effects of the drugs), to be revived. It is suspected that she overdosed on either oral heroin or a narcotic like fentanyl.
McGowen will be charged with child endangerment and her daughter is currently in custody with the Department of Children and Families in the state.
