He’s known for his memorable roles in movies such as Braveheart, Troy and Manhunter. But at heart, Brian Cox continues to be a theatre actor. A few years ago, the Scottish actor met a 2-year old named Theo and tried to teach him the famous soliloquy from Hamlet. The master class turned out to be cute and funny.
In an interview with the BBC, Cox talks about his master class with Theo. He says that the child’s ability with mimicry astonished him and revealed to him a fascinating secret about how performance works:
