Many reports have brought to light rampant cheating episodes during examinations in Bihar. This led the state’s education board to enforce “stricter” measures this year. As a result, less than 50 per cent of the students cleared their class 10 board exams. However, a certain incident has left us all baffled and we don’t think the measures were “strict” enough!

Rubi Ray from Hajipur topped the political science examination scoring 444 out of 500. But during an interview with India Today, it was learnt that the girl had no idea what political science is. She called the subject ‘prodigal science’ and thought it was about cooking. She further embarrassed herself naming aluminium as the most reactive metal in the periodic table.
