At the start of the 2015 Cricket World Cup, most Indians were skeptical about their team’s performance at the mega event. However, our Men in Blue have proved thousands wrong by delivering some power-packed performances in the tournament.

While the team continues to receive compliments and morale-boosting words from cricket crazy fans across social media platforms, a few spirited anthems too are doing the rounds.

Take a look.

1. Nine popular singers revisit renowned music composer AR Rahman’s song ‘Chale Chalo‘ from Lagaan.

2.  This anthem, which aims to boost our Men in Blue Down Under, has been composed by Shreyash and Preet. Famous singer Shankar Mahadevan’s son Siddharth Mahadevan, Krishna Beura and Yours DC have lent their vocals.

3. Featuring the Indian skipper MS Dhoni and the batting sensation Virat Kohli, this anthem has been composed and sung by AR Rahman’s nephew GV Prakash.

4. The official ICC World Cup 2015 theme song ‘Bob’s Beat’ by Swedish music producer WDL beautifully captures the spirit of the game.

5. This is an anthem which sums up the excitement for the game in India and is also a tribute to our Men in Blue. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the song has been composed by MM Kreem.

6. You can take cricket out of Sachin Tendulkar, but you cannot take Sachin Tendulkar out of cricket.

In this 2012 video, actor Dhanush pays tribute to legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar’s 23 years of contribution to the game. Titled the ‘Sachin Anthem’, the song also features Kolaveri Di composer Anirudh and actress Anushka.

7. Popular singer Kailash Kher’s Sachin 2013 anthem ‘Yeh Desh Hai Achambho Ka’ explains why the Master Blaster is India’s pride.
