We’re loving the new trend of Bollywood celebrities promoting each other’s movies. Sometimes, celebs go out of the way to do something hilarious or really weird to get audience’s attention. Actors like Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan and Arjun Kapoor promoted Akshay Kumar’s Rustom vigorously, each putting up a video of their own as a countdown to the movie’s release. We also saw a number of celebs take the Beat Pe Booty challenge to promote Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez’s A Flying Jatt.
The dashing Sidharth Malhotra has done something similar. From what we hear, the actor slapped himself in a video posted by him recently. Don’t worry, he was only putting up an act to promote Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming movie Akira. Sid said a popular dialogue of Sonakshi from her debut film and ended the video by wishing her luck.
