Bollywood fans in and around Dubai are reeling in excitement . . . and rightly so! Dubai is all set to open doors to the world’s first and largest Bollywood-themed park named Bollywood Parks TM.

According to Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, the CEO of Dubai Parks and Resorts TM, the park was “designed and built for the billions of fans of Bollywood who live in close proximity to Dubai.”

Through themed attractions and rides spread across five zones—Mumbai Chowk, Rustic Ravine, Bollywood Boulevard, Bollywood Film Studios and Royal Plaza—the park hopes to recreate the Bollywood experience like never before. The park is also home to the remarkable 850-seater Rajmahal Theatre that will regularly host separately ticketed Broadway-style, Bollywood-themed shows.

In an interview with Khaleej Times, the chief destination management officer of Dubai Parks and Resorts TM Vinit Shah said, “Nothing like this exists anywhere in the world. So we are very proud of it. It will comprise all things dedicated to Bollywood such as entertainment, food, action, colour, celebrations, etc.”

Shah added that the park will have 16 rides and attractions, all of which are based on Shah Rukh Khan’s Don, Aamir Khan’s Lagaan, Sholay, Mughal-e-Azam and Krrish.

Here’s a quick sneak peek into this exciting venture!
