11 food maps from across the globe that will whet your appetite the moment you see them
Henry Hargreaves and Caitlin Levin are two such people who have great love and respect for food. These two gourmets have travelled far and wide—wherever that inviting aroma from the kitchen pulled them. From a tomato-loving Italy and cheese-relishing France to seaweed-savouring Japan and spicy-and-seasoned India. They have traversed across the globe in search of some good food. And got to know that food too has journeyed worldwide. Like tomatoes originally from the Andes in South America is now dominating all flavours in Italy.

In the following 11 maps, the Epicureans have chronicled how foods now represent the countries where they are loved the most. The maps are created by Henry and Caitlin and the typography is by Sarit Melmed:
United States of America- corn

Italy- tomatoes

Australia- shrimps

China- noodles

France- cheese and bread

Japan- seaweed

New Zealand- kiwi fruit

Africa- bananas and plantains

India- spices

South America- citrus

UK and Ireland- biscuits
