A team of scuba divers captured the incredible footage of a giant sea creature swimming in warm waters of the cost of Portugal.
The video show the divers coming face-to-face with an unusually large sunfish, which could easily swallow them whole. Filmed by photographer Miguel Pereira, the footage was uploaded online and shared on YouTube.
Sunfish are generally a large in size and are known to be the heaviest bone fish on the planet, weighing anything between 247 to 1,000 kgs. Despite their terrifying looks, humans have nothing to fear from them as they feed mostly on jelly fish.
In fact they probably have lot more to fear from us, because they are considered as a delicacy some parts of the world, including Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
This particular sunfish seems the least disturbed by human presence, allowing the deep sea divers to swim next to it.
