The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed Bollywood stars Ajay Devgan and his wife Kajol as the official brand ambassadors of its tourism department.
Ajay met with the chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the minister’s camp office in Amaravati/Vijayawada on Tuesday and offered to work as the brand ambassador for the state’s tourism department.
Ajay also proposed to the chief minister to establish a virtual studio technology (VST) unit and an entertainment and media project in Andhra Pradesh for which Naidu is understood to have given a green signal. Ajay gave a PowerPoint presentation to Naidu and his officials on his proposed projects in the state.
Ajay and Kajol are expected to showcase several of Andhra Pradesh’s tourist spots to the world. AP has several popular pilgrimage temples like Tirumala-Tirupati, scenic tourist spots such as Araku Valley and beautiful beach cities like Visakhapatnam.
