Prashant Nair, the much loved Collector ‘Bro’ of Kozhikode district is now gearing up to write script for an upcoming movie by award winning director Anil Radhakrishnan.

Working for a movie production is not a new thing for Collector Bro. He has already worked as director for a short film – Karuna Cheyvan which was produced by Kerala State Government.
Prashant Nair, who is known for his freshly ideated public initiatives, rose to fame in a short period of time. His people’s welfare oriented initiatives like ‘Operation Sulaimani’ and his witty and quick response to even the silliest of comments on his official Facebook page got him the name Collector ‘Bro’.

‘Operation Sulaimani’ is one of the most famous initiatives of Prashant. The program which vowed to ensure zero hungry person in Kozhikode, has now completed eight successful months under his aegis. Through the program which was implemented in coordination with Kozhikode Hotel and Restaurant Association, food has been provided at free cost to people who are found eligible by the collector’s office.
In the attempt to write movie script, Collector ‘Bro’ is out on the mission along with his wife Lakshmi. As reports confirmed by Anil Radhakrishnan, Prashant Nair will be writing the script for the movie which will be filmed in and around Kozhikode. It is learned that the movie will belong to Satire genre.

The movie will present a lead character who has peculiar behavioral characteristics. According to the director of the movie, lead character will be presented by one of the prominent actors in Malayalam movie industry.
