News reports on Monday morning said that reality TV star Kim Kardashian West was held at gunpoint at a hotel room in Paris.
A spokesperson for the TV star told Associated Press that she was held at gunpoint by two masked men who claimed to be police. It was reported that she was unharmed following the incident.
“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening by two armed masked men dressed as police officers,” Kardashian West’s spokeswoman, Ina Treciokas, said in a statement reported by CNN.

Meanwhile motive of the masked men were not disclosed. “She is badly shaken but physically unharmed,” the statement added.
According to reports, Paris police department has not tendered comments on the incident yet.
Reportedly her husband – singer Kanye West dropped a performance at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York after telling his fans had a “family emergency.”
Kardashian had reached Paris to attend the fashion week there.
