Paksitan’s flag hoisted atop household in Bihar

A week after pro-Pakistan slogans were raised in Patna in a gesture to show support of controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik and AIMIM chief Asauddin Owaisi, a household in Nalanda district of Bihar hoisted Pakistan’s national flag atop its roof.

It is learned that the action has angered the locals in Nalanda. Reportedly the incident took place in Kharadi locality in Biharsharif town of Nalanda.

According to reports, on Wednesday evening locals spotted Pakistan’s flag hoisted atop a house owned by Anwarul Haq. The matter was soon reporter to police.

High ranking police officials reached the house of Anwarul Haq by Thursday morning and seized the flag.

Police has registered a case in this regard and initiated a probe to determine the motive behind the action which is in contravention of national interests.

However, Haq denied having any knowledge about the action and told officials that it could be done by anti-social elements.
