14 dance forms, one studio – Yes, you heard it right!

“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, love like you’ll never get hurt, sing like there’s nobody listening, and live like it’s heaven on earth.”

When it comes to learning dance, it is always a good idea to join a troupe or an organization; two reasons – you meet other dancers and you become more aware of the dance forms being practiced across the world.

Everyone out there has a different dance style. You could be a graceful ballerina, a casual hip-hopper, or the twirling salsa enthusiast or just about anything! But what if you are a mix of two or more? Do you go hopping from one class to another, ditching everything else that you have to do in a day or do you pick one studio that teaches you all?

Personally, I pick the latter.

But if you are one of those who has failed to find that one place in Delhi, here’s good news!

Ballrumours, founded by Aamir Ahmed back in August 2002, lets you learn 14 dance forms if you are really up to it. As Aamir puts it, “with the combination of these dances, our aim is to help our members in getting a good aerobic workout, improving posture and enhancing social grace, thereby increasing their self confidence. At the same time, these dances provide a wonderful creative outlet and stress relief from everyday urban tensions – truly, benefits for the mind, body and soul!”

They are not just known as one of the oldest in their field in the city, but also the two most warm people to meet in-person.

Run by Aamir Ahmed and Neel Sondhi, Ballrumours is spread across Delhi/NCR with the agenda of taking dance to their students than always expecting them to make the effort.

“We don’t put you on stage, we put you on the center stage.”
– Aamir

Sounds interesting? Well it is and I won’t blame you for opening another tab to search for their monthly schedule. But I decided to make it a little more easier for you to reach their classes.

Here’s their schedule for this month:
