Inner pages of the publication ran more photographs of the former model who was then known just Melania.K.

The story published by the New York Post talked about how Melania would make the ‘model first lady’.

According to reports, the pictures are from Melania’s photoshoot to a French men’s magazine which is presently discontinued. According to Ale de Bassevile -the lead photographer of the shoot, it was done in 1995.

When the daily asked Trump about the photographs he responded that he hadn’t known her then.

“Melania was one of the most successful models and she did many photo shoots, including for covers and major magazines. This was a picture taken for a European magazine prior to my knowing Melania. In Europe, pictures like this are very fashionable and common,” the New York Post quoted Trump.

New York Post is notorious for its sensationalism just like its counterparts in the United Kingdom. The daily has any way endorsed Trump’s candidature.

“He has the potential — the skills, the know-how, the values — to live up to his campaign slogan: to make America great again. For those reasons, The Post today endorses Donald Trump in the GOP primary,” the editorial, published in April before the New York primary, said.

Lady Trump had made headlines a week back when she was caught plagiarising her speech at the Republican National Convention 2016 from a speech given by Michelle Obama at the Democratic National Convention in 2008.
