Former model and Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, was receiving initially gathered praise for her speech at the Republican convention Monday night. However, soon the laurels turned into thorns of insult and shame when a Twitter user rightly exposed the real estate baron’s wife’s balderdash speech.

Melania’s speech which received plaudits suddenly sounded like unfunny mimicry.

@JarrettHill on Twitter first noticed a striking similarity between Trump’s speech and speeches that First Lady Michelle Obama delivered on her husband’s behalf in 2008 and 2012.

Trump claimed to have penned the speech on her own, mostly.

“I wrote it — with a little help as possible,” Melania Trump told NBC News’ Matt Lauer in an interview Monday.

After the first night of the convention former top Obama adviser David Axelrod was calling Trump’s speech “flat out plagiarism.”

Soon aftre the controversy broke out, Trump’s campaign Senior Communications Advisor Jason Miller issued a statement saying:

“In writing her beautiful speech, Melania’s team of writers took notes on her life’s inspirations, and in some instances included fragments that reflected her own thinking. Melania’s immigrant experience and love for America shone through in her speech, which made it such a success.”

However, it did neither succeed leveling the ignominy that befell on Melania in whatsoever fashion.
