The Thalli Pogathey song from Gautham Vasudev Menon’s upcoming Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada has just been unveiled and the director, who’s known for the chart-buster songs in his films, seems pretty pleased with the result.
He tweeted his thanks to the singer Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam, known in the industry as ADK and one of the rising playback singers of the moment.
The Thalli Pogathey song, with rap vocals by ADK and backing vocals by Aparna Narayanan, is a melodious number, not unlike the songs in Gautham Menon’s previous hits, Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya and Kaakka Kaakka.
The song features the film’s hero, STR – who certainly needed this makeover after the ‘Beep Song’ affair – and Manjima Mohan and promises to climb the charts soon. The music is vintage A.R Rahman and fans are sure to love the number.
