Realising that eulogy of Noushad is not a thing to be sung and forgotten, Sajeesh Velayudhan, a fresh face in movie direction, is planning to come out with a movie that narrates the real life saga of Noushad.

According to reports the movie which has been named ‘Njangalude Swantham Unnikka’, is scheduled to be released during Onam this year. The movie will use Noushad’s auto rickshaw ‘KL 11 AS 6693’ for shooting. Reportedly, talks are underway with a leading actor in Malayalam for the role of Noushad.

Sajeesh has been wanting to direct a movie for the last 12 years. He was planning to do a movie on an accident story. When he realised that Noushad’s selfless sacrifice will be slowly forgotten by people of Kerala, he decided to etch it on sliver screen.

Noushad was working as a driver in Kuwait till some years back. Before three years he returned to Kozhikode and decided to ply auto rickshaws for a living. However, on November 26 last year, his life came to a tragic end as he volunteered to save two manual scavengers from a manhole. He was asphyxiated inside the manhole while he tried to bring out the trapped persons.
