Bengaluru buys more musical instruments than any other city in India

Bangalore is not just the silicon city of India it is also called by many as the rock capital, because of it’s busy music scene.  

Snapdeal which celebrated World Music Day on June 5th, has now reported that the Bengaluru bought the the maximum number of musical instruments online.

“Bengaluru led the sales of musical instruments at 18 per cent, followed by Kolkata at 15 per cent and Mumbai 6 per cent,” said the e-commerce company in a statement.

The Report is based on the study which indicates that there has been 30% increase in online sales of musical instruments, in the first half of this year.

“With 60 per cent of the demand coming from metros, musical instruments has posted tremendous growth online, with guitars and bass being the most sought after,” the statement said.

“Guitars and bass are the top selling musical instruments, followed by keyboards and Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) and brass and wind instruments,” said the statement.
