Google waved off a massive bill made by a kid mistakenly

Google has waved off a 100,000 euro (Rs. 74,55395) bill made by a 12-year-old boy from Spain, who mistakenly was using Google AdWords services, thinking he was earning money, rather than paying for it.

The boy from eastern city of Torrevieja was using the advertising account to promote videos of his municipal band, running up the the Google AdWords bill for over two months.

The parents of the boy got to know about what was happening when the bank notified them that Google was looking to charge the amount to the boy’s account.

Inma Quesada, the mother of the boy told a local newspaper that her son, said he wanted to become a “rich youtuber”, but did not realize that he was using a paid service.

Good old Google, after reviewing the case, decided to wave of the bill and give the kid a break.
