Harper Lee, author of the Pulitzer prize winning novel ‘To kill a mocking bird’ has died at 89. The American author won the Pulitzer in  1960, and her second novel ‘Go set a watchman’ (which is considered to be the first draft of ‘To kill a mocking bird’) was published in 2015. Lee led a largely private life, choosing to stay off the limelight.

The release of Harper Lee’s ‘new’ novel Go Set a Watchman was one of the biggest events in publishing history, which also shocked with revelations about its protagonist Atticus Finch’s belief in white supremacy.
