Malayalam actor Jinu Joseph, famous for his roles in Chappa Kurishu, Ustad Hotel, North 24 Kaatham, Iyobinte Pusthakam and Rani Padmini, was allegedly arrested at the Abu Dhabi airport following a feud with Etihad Airways’ crew members over his dissatisfaction with their service.

The actor had been updating his fans with the developments via Facebook.

According to the posts, Jinu was on his way in the Etihad Airways’ business class flight from New York to Abu Dhabi when he requested the crew to turn off the TV in front of him so that he could sleep. He was unable to turn it off himself. When the crew realized that the screen was faulty, they covered it with a blanket.

Jinu began to record the ordeal to lodge a complaint later. The crew who saw him record tried to snatch the phone away from him as well as threatened to have him arrested upon arrival.

When Jinu realized he was in trouble, he began updating his Facebook page with posts and videos.
However, he was arrested at the Abu Dhabi airport. We’ll have to wait and watch whether the influential Malayalam film industry can help him successfully in this matter.
